
The victim reported that the suspect appeared high on meth and became angry with him for some perceived slight that the victim did not understand. The suspect is also a roommate of the victim and they both live in a 4-bedroom residential home with no prior relationship. The suspect is an adult male who had reportedly been smoking methamphetamine for the last 24 hours. On 06-25-2022 at 1307 hours, officers responded to a residence for a report of a bias crime. Several units were involved with the monitoring of this incident. The marchers only briefly stopped traffic at various locations and no crimes were observed or reported. The group consisted of individuals carrying signs. The group eventually ended their demonstration at McGraw Square. On 06-25-2022 at 1300 hours a group of approximately 1500 subjects took part in a Roe v Wade demonstration that began at Westlake Park and marched to several locations. Note collected and submitted with possible prints. Patrol processed the door for possible prints. Suspect 1 and suspect 2 ran to the vehicle entering the back seat and suspect 3 drove them away EB on S Myrtle St. Employee chased after to get a photo of the car & succeeded. Security guard came out, unaware of the situation and the suspect fled on foot without any money. He went to a teller, passed a demand note to her, and the note had specific instructions with a threat of shooting the place up. On 06-25-2022 at 1009 hours, suspect 1 entered a bank. The victim sustained bullet fragment injury to his lower left leg which required surgery but is not life-threatening. Blood trail was located, and the scene was photographed. Scene was secured and witnesses transported to the East Precinct and statements obtained. Both a scene and witnesses were identified. Officers responded to that location to locate the scene. The suspect then fired his weapon at him, striking his lower left leg. He heard subjects in a verbal altercation outside of his tent when he confronted them. The victim advised that he was inside his tent at an encampment near Belmont Av. On 06-25-2022 at 0744 hours, officers responded to a North Precinct-area hospital to investigate a gunshot wound victim who had been shot in the East Precinct area. Suspect was booked into KCJ for reckless endangerment and unlawful discharge of a firearm. Once inside the suspect’s apartment, officers found that she had also fired a round through her wall into her neighbor’s apartment. Officers recovered a 9mm handgun, evidence of a shooting, and live ammunition in the apartment. HNT established dialogue with the suspect and the suspect willingly surrendered shortly after SWAT arrival. Officers contained the suspect and requested HNT and SWAT while evacuating surrounding apartment units. The subject retreated into the apartment and officers established a perimeter and deployed a contact team into the apartment building. When officers arrived, they located a window that was shot out and a subject displaying a firearm from the window. On 06-25-2022 at 0239 hours, officers responded to a call of shots fired inside an apartment.


Officers determined that the suspect had a rape warrant with a $1,000,000 bail, formulated a plan and took suspect into custody without incident. On 06-25-2022 at 0149 hours, officers received a similar call for service. Generally, suspect takes off prior to police arrival. Officers have become familiar with the subject and staff have formed a loose community advising one another whenever the suspect or his vehicle come into the area.

It has been reported that, every weekend for weeks, a suspect has been terrorizing patrons and employees of various Admiral/Alaska Junction establishments and venues.
